This is the worse place I've ever lived at. When I moved in the apartment was disgusting, the carpet was so dirty I was afraid to take my shoes off. There were cob webs that had been painted over all over the walls. The dishwasher leaked and the dryer didn't work. After calling the office for these problems along with a few more other things, it took maintenance over 3 months to fix everything. They never did anything about the carpet or walls though.
Now I don't want to say all the office staff is bad, there are some good, helpful people there. But ------------- (Property Manager) is another story. I've never had to deal with someone this bad or as big of a liar as she is. It's very clear that she doesn't care about most of the residents. I was told by her that I couldn't have my dog even with a note from my doctor, after she first told me I could. That no pets were allowed at all, even if it was a service animal. By the way, the lease states otherwise, and my dog met the requirements that ------ originally told me. While other people there were told they could have theirs even though their dogs were clearly over the weight limit. And some of those people didn't even have a note from their doctor. If you go there you will see dogs everywhere.
Whenever I have had to speak with ------ about problems with the apartment, or the crappy roommates they placed me with, she talked to me as if I were a child. Very loud, rude and like I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about. But if she would actully listen to what I have to say instead of yelling over me, she would see I know what I'm talking about. It's clear that she has residents she gives special treatment. I know this by talking to others who live/lived there.
Maybe Hunters Ridge wouldn't be so bad if ------ didn't work there, or she started treating her residents better. But until then, STAY AWAY FROM HUNTERS RIDGE, it's the worst apartment complex in Radford.
