First off I have read all the reviews up to this date. Second I notice that the management of Charter Oak is submitting reviews, as logic suggest'

For example, if someone was so happy living at Charter Oak why would they be searching for apartments on this website in the first place' If reviews are too good to be true, then they are? It looks like management is trying to mitigate the real truth.

My nightmare at Charter Oak in Reston:

When I moved in Charter Oak I told some people at work where I was living. Their reply was ?Oh the place where they raise the rent all the time'? I didn?t think much of it until it turned out to be true.

In response to the review that said that the management was a big liar. Well, the only reason I moved in the apartment in the first place was because they had a swimming pool. I told the management this and then I found out after I moved in that the management was planning to never open the pool and they where planning to make a parking lot out of it' The only conclusion to draw would be the management at Charter Oak in Reston does not really care about the residence. By the management neglecting to inform me that they where in a current battle with the tenants with the closing of the pool is very untrustworthy on their behalf.

I?m not sure why the owners of the Charter Oak apartments in Reston continue to have this person employed by them' She has very high employee turnover. I can?t blame them I could not wotk for her eith.

She loves to threaten the tenants with ?I?m not renewing anyone?s lease if I catch them Blah Blah Blah!? She has also admitted to a group of us that she searches the apartments when they change the air filters and she knows what cigarettes and medication people use etc. So if you have a pet she will tell you she will watch or walk your pet, but what she is really doing is searching through your personal items. I should know I installed a camera and caught her red handed! At this point I knew I needed to move my family out this place and quickly!

ARCHSTONE IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE, LOOKS LIKE THE PROJECTS, AND IS KEPT UP LIKE SECTION 8 HOUSING!!
