I have lived at Charter Oak for going on 3 years now. I live on a top floor with a view of the golfcourse and it is absolutely beautiful. I have read a few of the reviews here and can state honestly that I have never had a problem with noise or the parking situation, maybe it depends on which end of the community you are living at. The only "issue" I have and it really isn't worth mentioning is that you only ever have A/C OR Heat, never both at the same time. It is only usually ever a problem once or twice a week out of the entire year so I can live with that. Utilities are included in the rent and believe me, I have shopped around and know that I have the best deal in this area. My apartment is spacious and well maintained. If ever I need to call maintenance, they respond very quickly and take care of any problem immediately. My kitchen is huge as well as the rest of the rooms. I have looked at newer communities and all of the kitchens and living areas are so small, the same goes for the bedrooms. It would be nice to have a second bathroom but again, I can live without it. The property manager is always very responsive and even brings my packages home for me at night when I am unable to pick them up before the office closes. I would highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a home, permanently or temporarily. I love it here!
