OK, So I've previously written a good review for this property but want to bite my tongue. True, these apartments are the largest in the Reston area. However, management has just gone down the drain. We've seen more people come and go through the leasing office than would care to keep track of. They had a great maintenance engineer but sent her to a different location due to internal politics. Since then, maintenance is awful, both internally and externally. The lamp in question is actually just outside our building. First it broke, they wouldn't fix it. Then they "fixed" it, maybe two-three weeks ago, and now it's not working. The area outside our building and the one adjacent to it is dark at night. Building next door now has a group of young men who keep lurking around the property. In the summer, they'd lie on the grass wearing wife beaters and at night, they just hang around the lamp-post. Definitely developing a bad neighborhood feel. This is not to mention that the roofs leak and while they've eventually fixed various parts of our unit's walls and roofs in the past 4-5 yrs and the water damage doesn't stop. I can't wait to find a better place.
