Archstone, why did you let this happen' Why did you let a model property turn into a nightmare' It hurts when a community as good as this one has been let go like this one. In 12 short months we have gone from community picnics to armed assaults on the area in front of the community on June 10th. This is due to neglect and greed on the part of Archstone Communities. This has translated into filling units with horrible, disgusting people, and filth and trash you refuse to pick up in front of the buildings. Those of us stuck in our leases are prisoners in our own homes.

It was on July 10th and not June 10th! Robbery and Assault in Reston A 21-year-old Herndon-area man was assaulted and robbed outside an apartment building in the 11600 block of Charter Oak Lane on Tuesday, July 10, just after 2 a.m. The man was walking alone when two men approached him. One brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim ran and was chased down by both suspects who then punched him several times and robbed him. The victim was not seriously injured. The suspects are both described as black, 20 to 25 years old. One suspect was approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about 250 pounds. The second suspect was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 140 pounds. Both suspects were wearing black, hooded sweat shirts and black bandanas partially covering their faces.
