When my husband and I moved to Colvin Woods we absolutely loved the quiet woods and the view from our patio. However, things started to pop up like some bad horror movie. The laundry room washers leak like crazy, you can't even walk in there without 2 inches of water soaking into your shoes. (I've been told this has been going on for 4 years). Then the stairs started falling apart (try going down those in heels in the morning, you almost break your neck). And finally the very rude and ignorant office staff that could care less about what you are going through. The person in the office basically told me to call her back and remind her to set up an appointment with the exterminator, as there is a wood roach problem here. When I didn't call to remind her and I called the next day, she got upset with me that I didn't call her to remind her to do HER job. Boy, I wish someone would call me to remind me to do my job, but oh wait, I'm not lazy. To top it all off, you also have very rude tenants on the bottom floor that leave garbage out constantly, have the police over at least once a week for domestic violence charges, and scream at the top of their lungs both night and day. Not to mention workers sautering the stairwells whilst burning the carpet and not speaking any English, so you can't even enter the building without getting caught on fire from the sautering guns. Unbelievable. I understand there is section 8 housing at the top of the hill, but you could have fooled me because it all seems to be moving into Colvin Woods. Shameful.
