Honestly, I really miss this apartment. It was perfect. We never heard any of our neighbors and the balcony was great. The grounds are kept really nice and the pool is awesome. Our only complaint was that the smaller 1 bedroom we had, it had a really ackward wall when you first walk in, but the layout otherwise was the best we've seen so far and we are now on our 3rd apartment. Don't know what the rent is now, it was in 2005 we moved in, but I know it's gone up. We really miss the area and would recommend this complex to anyone. Still do.

I agree with the above comment. If you've lived at Colvin Woods/Carter Lake, then you heard your neighbors. But in fairness, the apartments weren't so bad when I first moved in, but everything grew progressively worse as management changed and the years went on. Thankfully I don't live there anymore. You can't really accurately rate the apartment complex by how things were several years ago.

It's not a fluffer post, seriously, if you read my comment, you would have noticed that I said I lived there over 3 years ago, many things change. Maybe I lucked out and didn't have loud neighbors, who knows.
