The rental associate when I first moved in was very nice and got things done, e.g. submitting maintenance notices, etc. Then new people started working there (the current staff) and they are completely INCOMPETENT. I had to call at least 3x/day to get things fixed and then it was a crappy job and they frequently had to come back until it was properly fixed. I constantly had to call them about administration stuff, too. Diana is completely worthless.
There was a rape in the complex in 1998 and the guy was never caught.
Pipes burst in the apartment 2 floors above me and I had water stains on my ceiling - the painters they contracted to re-paint my ceiling didn't use drop-cloths and got paint all over my glass coffee table and they didn't get the dining room section.
There is also NO sound-proofing between floors, I could hear the people above me like they were in the same room - could hear their TV, music, cooking, conversations- you name it, I heard it.
I finally made enough money to move out, it took them over 45 days (which is the law in VA) to refund my deposit. It took me calling the regional supervisor to get them to send my check.
Do NOT live here, you'll regret it. Spend more money and keep your sanity.
