Granted I have one of the older models before the most recent updates. It cuts back on rent, but the kitchen is ugly, and no washer and dryer in unit.

I have a one bedroom place on the top floor. The bedroom window is great, and the bedroom is absolutely huge. The views into trees from both the front and back are real nice. There are however, essentially no ammenities, and the neighbors are a hit or miss affair.

Noise is sometimes an issue as I hear the person below me, and the previous renter below often knocked on the ceiling to me. Also, emergency vehicles often pass by coming from the Wheile fire station. (I am in the remote section, facing the side road)

Appliances are pretty blah, and the paint job is hit or miss. The number of covered over, painted over and messed up telephone and cable hookups outnumbers the working ones.

The rent though, is pretty competetive, and much more so when you consider that energy is included (gas and electric).

On the top floor at least, bugs and flooding are a non-issue.

The staff is competent, if not especially congenial, and generally responsive to phone calls and whatnot. I haven't put in for much in the way of maintinence, but when I have, they have usually gotten to me in a day or two.

My apartment parking is pretty open, but guests have to get a pass or you can pretty much count on them getting towed.

Anyway, as a temporary location, and considering the utilities, it works pretty well. Just don't expect luxury.
