I'm looking for a new place to live because of a relocation for work.. and every place I visit--I'm reminded why I love my apartment at The Metropolitan, and WISH I didn't have to move.

Its very intelligently designed, great finishes, fixtures, and the floor to cieling windows are great. A/C and Heat work great. Good water pressure. We don't hear noise from neighbors.

The only cons:

Elevators are a little slow. But not even enough to complain about. (I've heard other residents complain about them in passing... and really, they're being a little impatient.)

Broken Garage Door. But this is Reston Town Center... not exactly a high crime area. It never really bothered me. And its fixed now--and they apologize profusly when its not operating.

Really.. thats all I can think of. Things break, they are fixed--and they are great about communicating with residents.

My partner and I have very picky parents--and they've RAVED about our apartment after each visit. (The guest-suite is a home-run with guests too.)

Again, just sad my commute got doubled and I have to move.
