Waterside Apartments are advertised as luxury apartments. Where's the luxury'

My bathtub is so worn out that the porcelin has rubbed off. The bath fixtures are old and worn, the paint is peeling. The bathroom floor is so warped that the toilet leans to the left. The walls are so thin that the smells from the neighbors bathroom comes into mine.

The kitchen floor is warped, the maintenance solution was to lay more flooring over the top of it. Now the linoleum separates from its seam and, no matter how much cleaning dirt collects there.

The windows in the bedrooms and the sliding door on the deck are not flush with the window frames allowing cold air to leak in in the winter and hot air in the summer.

The noise level is increasing and the police have been called to Waterside already this month and two times last month.

There is no place for children to play. Parents can easily take them to the park nearby, instead they use the parking lot as a playground making the entire area a danger zone.

The management changes very frequently and they have no interest in maintaining the property to a high standard because they will be leaving shortly.

The stairways leading to the apartments are generally dirty. The light covers are full of bugs. I have a beautiful view of trash dumpsters that are out of control and piles of dog doo that tenants don't clean up.

My rent has been increased to match the rents demanded at Reston Landing which truly has luxury amenities. So after over 5 years here, I'm moving. Gladly.

DO NOT MOVE TO WATERSIDE APARTMENTS--THE GHETTO OF RESTON!!
