Watch out "Preferred Employer"

I was initially sucked in as I was offered to have my security deposit waived because I worked for a "Preferred Employer". I loved it when I first moved in, but it was all down hill from there.
It's all true about no parking, the dumpsters being overflowed, the poor maintenance (or lack thereof), the age and general disrepair of the buildings, the ridiculous staff, and the crime.
At one point I had to actually email the Equity corporate office to get my A/C fixed (in July) while my wife was pregnant.
The bottom line is that the staff has only one concern: Fill the apartments. They will B.S. you as much as the have to, give you "discounts", whatever it takes to get you in there. After youre in, they could give a rat's ass if your dryer works or if you can't find a place to park, or any other concern for that matter.
DO NOT MOVE HERE, THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

It's always the ones who have done something against policy that complain the most. Every person who has paid late, get's pissed, because management must enforce policy. You can't make excuses if you pay mortgage late!! Same with those who violate parking policies and get towed. It's always managements fault. NEVER the residents. How bout if we get to rate "residents"? Residentratings.com. That would be great! Own your own home, have something happen that's not planned ie., plumbing, a/c, heating, you know, the typical issues that are a part of life. Pay for a contractor out of your own pocket and then complain.
