Other reviewers must be far too picky, or the reviews on this site are too old to be valid anymore. NONE of the complaints make any sense!

I've only lived here personally for about a half a year, but my husband lived in another apartment across the complex for a year before that. First and foremost, somebody must have fixed the noise problem because I almost NEVER hear my neighbors! Sometimes when the people upstairs play with their dog it gets loud, but for the most part it's silent. And one of my neighbors is the maintenance shop!

As for maintenance response to problems, the complex offers a guarantee that involves money taken off your rent for delays in fixing your reported problems. If you do things right, then you get things fixed or you get compensated. There have been a handful of problems (including a burst pipe flooding my husband's living room) and maintenance was on hand quickly. The one time they weren't, he didn't pay rent for a week.

One day very close to closing time, we told them that our oven wasn't working they came by to fix the element bright and early the very next morning.

Perhaps we're reaping the rewards of being good tenants, but management is always friendly, maintenance is always nice and do the repairs they're asked to do.

As for parking, new policies have completly changed that situation. Besides, not everyone in the complex could have a spot right next to their apartment, now could they' At least they don't limit the number of cars you can have!

I've never smelled anything horrible, and while the dumpsters do get full I hear the trash trucks coming in each week.

As for police, I've never, in the entire time I've been here, seen a police car in the complex. I've never seen people acting strangely, I've never seen a "drug deal" going down...and I've lived in some pretty horrible places, so I know what shady looks like.

Sure, the walls aren't exactly and perfectly straight. But nothing that is a problem for living in them.

These complaints must be from people who are used to "luxury" because this is the best place I've ever lived besides my parent's house. Not to mention that the price and the pet policy CANNOT be beat, especially not for this area!

You're almost next door to Reston Town Center, only fifteen to twenty minutes from Tyson's Corner when there's no traffic (with traffic, it can be an hour but that's life in NoVA).

For the record, both of our apartments have been on the bottom floor, one on the back of a building and one facing the parking lot.

Also, I suggest people note that several of the reviews talk about the "immigrants," which I think tells you how seriously to take them. This is Northern Virginia, no matter where you live it will be filled with people of every nationality, color, and creed. And that's a GOOD thing.

This was obviously written by one of the staff members in the leasing office!

Please be accurate. The so-called immigrants are illegal aliens. immigrants are what my Italian grandparents were. I'll look somewhere else without the illegals.
