The apartments themselves are not that bad. It is a little old, so you will deal with leaking pipes, creaking floors, bugs, etc. However, it is the way that these issues are dealt with that is the reason I am now trying to get out of my lease. I have had 2 (yes 2!!) floods in my apartment in the past 6 months. The one on Monday was my last straw. I had called the emergency line...repeated for an hour and a half (while watching water pour through my ceiling mind you) and had no response. Finally it was office hours and I went to tell them about it and there was no sense of urgency or apology. After that the repair man showed up and shut the water off on the 3rd floor (which was the trouble) and that was it. It is now Friday and I have changed towels for the 4th time...to walk around...and the carpet smells and there is a damaged ceiling above me. And no one seems worried about it. Like I said, this was just the last of many issues I have had and I am a very patient person. So, whether you are as patient as can be, or have no tolerance- you will not be happy here. Pay the extra $100 to live somewhere where you will be taken care of and treated with respect. Happy Hunting!!!
