No, no, no From: BossyBoots Date posted: 10/4/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   Our apartment started off all right, but soon became a complete dump and maintenance wouldn't do a thing about it. What was wrong with it' Where do I start' 1) The furnace leaked oil, which meant having to constantly put oil in to keep it from running loudly. 2) The tiles in the bathroom were coming up one by one. 3) The floor in the bathroom was SINKING and the maintenance guy said, "It is what it is, man." 4) The walls and ceiling leaked when it rained. 5) There was a mouse and god knows what else. 6) The ceiling in the bathroom leaked. 7) The toiled moved when you sat on it, because of the whole bathroom floor issue. 8) The kitchen linoleum was held down in parts with duct tape. 9) The bathroom wall had a giant crack running below the window. 10) There were cracks, chips and holes in the walls. 11) Good luck getting maintenance to trim the lawn in the back yard. It would usually grow to hip-height before anyone bothered with it. 12) We thought our apartment was surely the worst in the building, but one night, my boyfriend got to comparing apartments with the guy who lived next door in apartment 1. Theirs was a disaster! There were holes in the wall and mold growing everywhere. The only advantage to living here was their generous pet policy, which I really needed and is pretty much the only reason I ever signed a lease. I couldn't believe when we told them we wouldn't be renewing the lease, they had it rented out to someone else in a matter of weeks. We felt bad for the new person. This place should be condemned and if the landlord doesn't do a major overhaul, it won't be long before it is.
