I've seen alot living here. I'll tell the good and bad. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, decent and grounds are kept. Not embarrasing to have family and friends visit. The parking lots are mostly empty during the day because it's a working class community. If you live by the pool/tennis court and playground, there will be more activity (kids afterschool, teens in the evening-eventually they leave), no basketball court to worry about. (Although the police will sometimes come here and hide to try and catch someone going 5 mi. over the limit). I've personally had to complain about a neighbor's music 2 doors down and I'm sure my other neighbors complained too. Just when I thought the staff wouldnt do anything, they started hanging around and sure enough heard it, they kicked her butt out. She left behind what looked like a crime scene. Whenever someone leaves, all the aparments get a good once over - contractors come to replace the units with new carpets and fresh paint. Then the -------- came. They left Corona beer cans everywhere, played loud music on school nights, had a different car every other week, the kids would litter and run around barefoot in December, well they got booted too and replaced with some hard working, nice people. Lastly, a perv went around feeling on women. He lived at a nearby apartment complex (Glenside/Bethlehem Rd area, I think). Bremner Woods sent out notices to be aware. The police caught the perv. The staff periodically sends newsletters about anything. They also throw a yearly simple summer cookout by the pool and a fire truck might come for the kiddies. Dog owners are respectful, especially since kids are playing nearby. They let the dogs do their business across the street or a secluded area where no one goes anyway anyway. The walls are thin here and the floors squeek in some spots, I can hear neighbors turn water on/off, go up and down stairs. As hard as I try to be quiet, I know they can hear me too! No roaches, thank God. I killed 2 roaches once when that nasty fat lady was here. Maintenance staff is respectful too. Never had a problem with stealing or horror stories. They try to come when you say to and I must admit, they patch up your problem. I never saw them replace anything, just patch it up. Then they leave a "how did I do card" on your door. I dont respond, but it shows they care about your opinion. Whenever I go to the leasing office, the staff are friendly and professional. The staff will let you know (newsletter) if maintenance will come to do upgrades or check fire alarm, vents, etc. A word to the wise, pay your rent ON TIME and they will treat you good.
