I've lived here for a few months (since January) initially when I was scheduled to move in the maintenance office was close and didnt notify me, so I had to wait,pay for the u haul an extra day and schedule another day to pick up my furniture. I finally got to see the apartment the day of the move and it was nothing like the model or what "Heather" had descirbed.I was promised all hardwoord (i was left with cheap carpet) new cabinets (I have 1970 retro cabinets), and nice appliances but both the stove and fridge were scratched and broken. I'm pretty young this is my first place, the price was affordable, the location was superb and the overall apperance was fairly decent, so I sucked it up and decided I'd take the apartment.A few weeks after I moved in maintenance replaced my old bathroom floor tiles with new one, however the didnt tighten up the toilet and water leaked through the upstairs bathroom to the downstair ceiling.I called and complained and they came to fix it promptly (so I thought).A couple of weeks later the same thing happend this time it was worse.A large water stain covered the celing and it look soggy and then a large hole formed and water leaked through.Once again maintenance "fixed the leak" but didnt patch the whole up because they wanted the ceiling to dry. Waited about a month or so later and finally they did a poor job of slapping up some putty and repainting it.Now about another month later Mold is forming in my living room, and my room mate and I are always sick because of this. Im reporting this today but I feel entitled to share my opinion with other apartment shoppers. I can hear everything the neighbors are doing with these paper thin walls. There's never any parking. Trash overflow is ridiculous.Everything is painted in the apartment. EVERYTHING (except floors and appliances) Yes this means the tubs window seals it's just ridiculous. I would not reccomend this apartment to anyone unless you really need to save money.My next door neighbors recently moved out because their upstairs caved through the bottom.But you can make your own choice.Just a word of advice.

Just so you know it's ILLEGAL for them to allow you to live in an apartment thats infested with mold. so you need to complain ASAP and let them know that they either fix it now or provide a new apartment or you'll seek legal action. Here is a link from a site explaining the way to go about it, and Good Luck..don't let them give you the run around about it either!
