I been living here for over 2 months now, and I can say that I actually have had no problem with the staff or the maintenaance. Whenever, I place a request for something to be done it gets done promptly and efficiently. Whenever, I go to the rental office the staff is very polite and helpful about everything and offer alot of suggestions. Of course there are some upgrades that could be done such as maybe new appliances and maybe carpeting, but for the most part this is a nice complex at a cheap price for to be able to live in the West End of Richmond. I think people who complain here against this staff don't have anything better to do and have alot of time on their hands. Try living at Gateway Apartments. Now that is the most horrible experience that I ever went through and they are under the same headquarters. Before you residents start complaining think about this: You get what you pay for. If you want something better then go out and buy a house or move to another complex that is going to charge you twice the rent.I'm sure if you want all the upgrades that you're complaining about Chase Gayton across the street from us has everything that you're looking for and are very expensive. So expensive that you can go out and get 2 mortgages for what they charge. I think some of you have too much time on your hands, and if that is the case go pick up a book, take a walk, and let the people do their job. Remember, no one forced you to live there and no one's forcing you to stay so if you have a problem with them just break your lease and stop making everyone else's ears bleed!! Kudos to the staff members and maintenance.

Once again...interesting how up Cabin Creeks behind you are if you are not an employee...plus...I never said I had any issues or wanted to move..I was on here simply because I received an email stating a new review had posted. I happen to agree with the people who wrote there are a lot of problems at this property. Since you're obviously such an intelligent person you know that it's costly to break a lease, and not feasible for most working families that are living in an apartment complex in the first place. The FTC...as in the Federal Trade Commission? WTH are you talking about? That doesn't even make any sense! You are hilarious! And since you're such an expert in mortgages and working the government programs..why are you living here? Does anyone but me find it odd that there are no reviews for months then all of a sudden a negative review is posted and TWO overly positive reviews are posted the same day?!?! HMMM..... It's odd that someone with nothing to gain would personally attack someone else living in their apartment community on behalf of a corporation!

Well since you own 2 houses why not move your mother into one of them since it is so dangerous. Oh and in regards to danger try living over northside, southside, Brooklyn,DC Metro,or the east end. At least you have police officers at the complex who live there onsite where you can advise them of these so called dangers. As for having a corporate job its called working to get to where you want to be at in life. Answer this question, why in the hell would you want to pay rent at a complex that you feel your mother isn't safe at? Obviously you don't care about your mother is what your saying in other words. As for you commenting on your mothers behalf, I'm sure she's a grown women and can speak for herself. As for the picture, typically in a case such as that, it's called environment sweet heart, and maybe you need to go and take a class in earth science, biology, and chemistry to understand the factors of how the mold came to be present because obviously you were not regulating the temperature correctly in the place. Oh and if it comes down to the dollar then it sounds like its more of personal issue than a service issue to me honey. As for you speaking to a multitude of neighbors that's nice. Would you like an award for it? I speak to several neighbors everyday and ask them about the place and I find it strange that they say the exact opposite of what your saying. As for 2 positives showing up on this board I only speak for myself and myself only, so whoever else you may be referring to in terms of positive posting "good for them". I could care less. Any questions?

Again smart a** if you read in my previous statement I was a previous resident of Cabin Creek so that is how I know about the apartment complex. Seems as if you have trouble in the area of comprehension. I never said it wasn't costly to break a lease, I said you had it as an option. Oh and for your information maybe if you were to contact the FTC which I have done in previous cases dealing with apartment communities you would know that they regulate the conduction of business, assist consumers and tenants with overlooked practices done by a corporation, would contact the state attorney general to investigate unlawaful pratices in regards to Fair Housing Laws, and also contact a local representative to represent you in pleading your problems to a businesses corporate headquarters. Oh, but I'm sorry. You might be to dumb to figure stuff like that out on your own.As for me I don't want a mortgage because I am still young and I move around alot with my company. So why in the hell would I submit and commit to something that when I'm not ready to settle down in one specific location? Especially when the housing market is the way it is now. As for my positive posting it is mine and only mine. I am one individual not many. So please do not include me in your plurality of the situation at hand. I have nothing to gain, however like yourself I can express myself freely just as any other person can. Seems like you are the comic here.

Wow, you've got anger issues. I think you happen to be the same as the other commenter from the "Old Place but nice" post. As it stands I live in Baltimore, MD thanks for the inquiry. MD happens to have the 3rd highest murder rate in the united states. I'd rather my mother live close to her other kids and grandchildren. I'm the only that moved up north. I did not laugh or say anything in regards to being funny, so whats with the comic? Like I said "I would be more than happy to help my mother move" but "she doesn't want to move". The concept is not hard to understand, although your ramblings are. In the future please be coherent, take a deep breath and calm down. This is a forum not a battlefield, also try not to mock other people it's rude. I never said anything about wanting an "award" or merit for just being friendly. I wonder if I've ever talked to you. The most insulting comment I made was "The girl Rachel was snobbish".... hmmm Do you know her? When I lived in Cabin Creek she was pregnant. Perhaps you are angry on her behalf... At the end of it all the window still has mold in it, is cleaned with Lysol and/or bleach, the apartment people don't acknowledge it's existence. My mother is old and doesn't want to deal with legal issues so she cleans the window. Eh, the apartment management is cheap so the rent is cheap. There we have it...perhaps a viscous cycle.
Thanks for the reply! Smile more :)
