I painted when I moved in although they advised I would have to repaint upon leaving, so my 1400 sq. feet have been a home, not an apt. for the last 3 years. The highlights are only having one bill to pay, calling maintenance when things go wrong and the proximity to the highway. The drawbacks are the parking (i've paid too many times for friends towing...it's a racket I'm convinced), the prehistoric weight room (almost offset by the nice personal trainer they provide, but i'd prefer better equipment instead of a tradeoff) the pool policies (regarding guests/children't birthday parties not allowed)and the ghost noises the floors/cielings make (you can't hear your neighbors... but if they're up and about they somehow creek the floorboards in your unit so you have mystery noises that are no fun.. i've gotten up in the middle of the night to investigate "an intruder" walking around my unit only to find nothing at all).
