Chesterfield Village Apartments

OMG! Please DON'T move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From: tklee1 Date posted: 7/1/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I moved into Chesterfield Village at the beginning of May. The night I moved my last box in was the first time I saw a roach! It was as if the rental office had made a deal with the roaches not to show their faces until I was completely moved in! Well, I called the rental office EVERYDAY until my apartment was roach free. It took 3 tries! They sent some half-a$$ "exterminator" guy in here. All he had was a can and a tube connected to it. He sprayed the big cracks, but he left out the cabinets, the small cracks, he didn't bomb my house AT ALL, he didn't get behind the refrigerator nor the dishwasher, nor did he set roach food traps! I had to call the rental office and threaten to call the health department before they actually did something! They came back and set roach food traps, and they sprayed again. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they sprayed my whole building. But I took the liberty of bombing my own apartment anyway! It's been 3 weeks, and I see 1 roach about every 3 days. So that's progress. But there are a lot of -------- out here, and I am a pretty young lady. EVERYTIME I go outside, whether it be to the dumpster or to my car, they are ALWAYS whistling! All I can do is ignore them, and hope that they get the hint. I can't curse them out, because they don't speak English (well majority of them don't). Let's see...the trash can ALWAYS smells like something died in it. The laundry facility is ALWAYS flooded and dirty. It needs remodeling. But other than those things, I don't seem to have any issues (knock on wood!). My advice....DON'T MOVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT! TRY NOT TO MOVE TO ANY GSC LOCATIONS! MOST OF THEM SUCK, CHESTERFIELD VILLAGE INCLUDED!!!!!
