Not too bad parking a nightmare From: hotlandish Date posted: 6/14/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   In my opinion you really don't get what you pay for here. What you are paying for is that these apartments are near VCU. Parking is a nightmare if you don't purchase a parking permit for the deck which is 50-100 a month in addition to your rent. And if you share a spot the spot are back to back so if your roomie isn't there to move this car then I guess you are stuck. Apartments are really small, and the efficienies don't have windows at all. All your utilies are paid which is good. Laundry was a joke as they only had about 2 dryers and 4 washers for the whole apartment building. There were numerous washers and dryers broken that never got fixed, and you would have to do laundry at 4 am to get a dryer without someone coming along and throwing your clothes on the floor. Management was okay I guess, and outside the building is scary as its on broad street but you have to have a card to get in. So it has its good and bad just decide what is important to you!
