Decent place to live

I've lived there twice and in 3 different apartments and for the most part, my experience there has been very positive.
Pros:
- it's a solid location for west end employment and shopping.
- overall, it's relatively quiet and unless the neighbours are exceptionally loud, you won't hear them.
- overall, a nice community of people
- I've never had any security issues, ever.
- maintenance team is courteous and usually fixes problems within two days.
- office staff is understanding and helpful.
- parking is abundant (I can't see how anyone would rate parking as a 1 out of 5).
- rent prices are still better than average for the area
- plenty of trees and greenery.
Cons:
- first time I left, I was contacted by a collection agency for damage to the patio door and stains on carpet (I have no recollection of this damage), lesson learned: *always* get a walk-through and sign-off by maintenance staff before you leave the apt.
- no month-to-month option at end of initial lease.
- costly lease-breaking options.
- gates are a pain to deal with and offer no real protection from solicitors/bad-guys.
