We lived here for 2 years.... the first 6 months were good. After that we could hear everything our upstairs neighbors did- which was not necessarily the apartment's fault, just rude people. Maintenance was good at times and sucked others- in the dead of summer we had no AC and it took them a week to fix a problem they said they would do in a day- they kept saying it was fixed, but clearly no cold air was coming out. I have never had an issue with the office staff- they are always pleasant, yet nothing seems to get accomplished. Now when it came to moving out, I have started to really hate the place- we paid our last months prorated rent, yet 2 days later we got an eviction notice- so I called- apparently there is only one person and "this sometimes happens" THIS sometimes happens... are you serious' Do you know what could happen to my credit with an eviction'' I'm sorry, but are you or aren't you running a business here- that would not fly in my job- I'll just tell my boss "oops" next time I screw up like that! THEN it came to the day we had our walk through- I was told to call and remind them- Again, I'm sorry, but isn't that YOUR job- I don't make my clients call me when I set up a meeting with them- completely inappropriate. But because I didn't want to get screwed with charges, I sucked it up and called ahead... Well what good that did when my roommates and I were standing in our apartment at 7:00 am- realizing that we are now going to be late for our jobs, yet the person whose job it is to be there it no where to be found- no one answers the phone and the sign on the office door says "come back at 9:00" ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!! So, we leave a message with our phone numbers and leave at 7:15 because we are already late for work and don't have all day to wait around. Well- they never call back, so I have to call AGAIN (not my job... getting a picture'') They inform me that "oh he was running a little late and did the walk through and there are some things.... a shelf is missing from the refrigerator...." WAIT WAIT WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!! He did the walk through, never called me, and now you are telling me I stole a shelf- just one shelf from the fridge''''' First off, that's stupid, and secondly did it ever occur to you that the shelf wasn't there in the first place''' So then I inform them that I have an open schedule and can meet again- "well," he says, "I am taking lunch with my employees today...." Oh well that's too bad for you that I can meet other than lunch time, so earlier is it!! So, now I sit boiling and thinking about how much I am glad we are out of there, yet the fun never seems to end!!!
