Eagle Mill Lofts = Absolutely HORRIBLE! I have lived here 2 years, and have had nothing but problems. In the first apartment, we had problems with rats coming up through the drain underneath the washer that they apparently "forgot" to put a cover on. Later on, we found out that the girl that moved in next door to that apartment was BITTEN IN THE FACE BY A RAT while she was sleeping.
We also had a leak in the wall that was causing black mold, and a leak under the wall that flooded our kitchen area EVERY time it rained for more than 5 minutes.
In my current apartment, we have had a problem with cockroaches since day ONE. They cam in and bombed the place (after about 50 phone calls), and they are still showing up, one in the kitchen sink drain.
The walls are paper thin- we can hear our ghetto neighbors having parties, having sex, and just screaming non stop, from all sides and above us. I've had to call the police on them multiple times. We also had people trespassing onto our patio during a party next door that got out of control. Mind you, our patios are separated by a 7-foot brick wall and a 7-foot metal fence above that.
Do yourself a favor- do not live anywhere owned by GENESIS PROPERTIES. They do not care at all about their residents.
