Hell on Earth is more like it! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/6/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   Okay, I was hesitating to voice my opinion on this website, but after talking to my neighbor (who has put their opinion on here) and living this nightmare everyday, I changed my mind. Since day one, we have been giving the sales pitch that car salesmen use! We fell in love with this community when we first saw it online. We came and look and were sold. We pick out the unit we wanted along with the "spectacular" wall unit with fireplace. Not to mention all the "great amenities." So we signed. We had to wait almost 4 months longer that promised to move in! Of course we kept getting the run around and lame excuses as to why there was a delay. Two weeks before we were to move in, we stopped by to see our wonderful new townhome. Upon walking in, we noticed, and how could you not...NO WALL UNIT! Um, huge oversight, and again, some lame excuse that we were given. Don't even get me started on the parking. I can promise you that maybe ONE night out of the week can we actually park infront of our unit that we are paying a boat load for. I was told by the property manager that we are in a busy corner and that the unit next to us doesn't have a parking area. Um, not my problem. The storage units we were promised, can't use now, but they are more than willing to rent us one, (not attached to our unit mind you) for an extra $30 a month! I don't think so! The toilets are constantly stopping up and yes maintenance does come out, tinkers with it, and say it's fixed. My plunger disagrees. The AC.....we were told that ours was wired wrong!!!!! So what is the true story' We could hang meat upstairs and have a rainforest downstairs! The wall unit that I mentioned earlier was put in but I think by 3 year olds! It's uneven and not completely painted at the bottom. There are paint drips dried on all of the door frames. I could go on and on. And all the great amenities that they offer....you can't even rent out the club house!!! That excuse is because they are not fully leased and need to show it. Well, we can use the pool, exercise room, screeing room, etc. Don't they need to show those also' Bottom line is this, you WILL get the run around from management, you will not get what you are promised, the price is way to high. We were taken and regret the day that we signed our lease. We WILL NOT be renewing our lease. We cannot wait until our lease is up. If we could get out of it, we would in a second!!! I agree, do your research. You could rent a house twice the size for less. DON'T BE TAKEN!
