Laughing at Gayton Pointe!

I lived at Dominion Gayton Crossing - the former name of Gayton Pointe - up until half way through the renovations. I am amused because I knew these apartments would NEVER go for the prices that the management was seeking - at least not for long (and they've gone down significantly but still too much for what you get!) This whole company from ground up is corrupt and unfit to run an apartment community! These apartments are NOT NEW...the walls (most of them anyway) are new, yet the framework, the pipes, much of the electrical work - IS OLD OLD OLD as is the pool! I know this because I watched them being built for months! I live nearby and have friends who reside there still and I've seen (and smelled!) the garbage piled up and around the trash compactor weekly (isn't that a health hazard') The courtyards and playground are still piled high with canine feces, and domestic problems run rampant and police activity is the norm! Break-ins are a frequent problem thanks to the new easily accesible windows and french doors and no patio gate with a door or lock (why are they only 3 feet high now -what privacy/security does that afford') Anyway..I'm glad I moved out of this place - not only because the office staff is hell to deal with, but also because these apartments will look as beat up and rundown as the old ones within a year or two thanks to such shoddy workmanship!
