I don't wanna paint a bad picture for anyone if you've made up your mind to live here, but I'm gonna tell my story:

I lived in this complex for 2 years-- my roommate and I had a SERIOUS mold problem in the bathroom (the window and ceiling were covered in mold).

At first the rental office ignored our requests to fix this problem, which went on for months. When we threatened to sue and call NBC 12, they quickly moved us into a different apartment.

The upkeep on the buildings is not ideal-- neither is the maintenance crew for that matter. Both my roommate and I had problems with the floor completely buckling up from water leaks in the apartment on several occasions. It took the maintenance crew TWO MONTHS to come fix her floor, 1 month for mine.

The next time it rained, I had the same problem. My ceiling used to leak so bad, I used to get scared it would come crashing down on me while I slept.

There's a bug problem in the apartment, and it seems like the rental office staff changes every time I go over there!

Also, they give you ONE parking pass for the lot in the back. Any additional passes are $30 a piece. What gives??!! What if there are 2 people in the apartment who drive separate cars (as in my case)?? I thought this was absurd. Don't go out on Friday nights, you'll have to park 2 blocks away when you get back.

The renovation in most of the apartments are shoddy as well (heating system, etc).

It's not the worst place in the world to live, but if you can afford to do better, DO IT. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
