Okay- here's the scoop... there are a handful of misfits and losers who have either been evicted or had to pay additional fees for a variety of reasons (pets, late fees, etc.) who have made it thier mission to post negative feedback on this site. They are disgruntled. They are angry at their little lives of nothingness. These sad souls deserve your pity, as they are so lonely, so depressed and so emotionally unstable that all they do is monitor internet message boards. So, let's not laugh at these poor little men and women. Let us understand their frustration. They have no life. They have no loved ones. They would rather lurk here than enjoy a nice day. Of course, they sometimes band together. Five or six even created an "association" so that they could meet in secret and whine together. Pity them... for they are truly sad. Have a good weekend guys- try to have some fun. Call your mom.

When I moved out through no fault of River City, Comcast forgot to turn my cable service off for two months after I moved out. Comcast wanted proof I moved out before and asked me to present a letter from River City stating I moved out. To my utter shock & disbelief they refused to give me a brief statement on their letterhead just stating I moved out. It's bad enough the apartments are shoddy, moldy and have roaches but the poor customer service from the rental office is the icing on the cake!

I counted the days down for months and was finally paroled from the lease. The guy seemed disappointed at my walk through, it's because he couldn't find anything wrong to try and keep my security deposit! -Roaches -Sinking ceilings and floors -30 complaints listed with the BBB. If you want to deal with the big red roaches they have exactly like the ones in the photos, sinking ceilings- EXACTLY like the ones in the photos, sinking floors and moldy bathrooms, Gilmour Court aka River City is the place for you!

Gilmour Court chould be a 26% but because of psycho ----- who works in the rental office posting fake reviews it's up to 46%, which it's been at for quite some time ;) they are only working hard now to drown out honest reviews which are negative. The rental office post so many fake reviews they are now getting the apartment communities mixed up, they are posting fake reviews for the upper scaled ratholes Parchute Factory on Gilmour Courts board, what dummies. Good thing they can't do anything to cover up the 30 complaints listed at the Better Business Bureau http://richmond.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=85&bbb=060 River City has 30 complaints listed with the BBB. They have chosen to no longer respond to complaints and have an unsatisfactory rating. River City Real Estate is the only real estate business in the Richmond Better Business Bureau database with 26-99 complaints in the past 36 months.
