I just relocated from the D.C. Metro area. My job transferred me to Richmond. So, I needed a new place FAST! I found River City Real Estate on the 'net - and after reading all the great reviews, I decided to give them a try. I met with River City after looking at a TON of places in the downtown area - and apartments by the big museum. I settled on the Parachute Factory. Its right off the interstate - so, its easy to get to work, and my apartment is really, really big, with a great view of the downtown skyline.

In short, I LOVE my new place, and I LOVE RIVER CITY REAL ESTATE!

-Roaches -Sinking ceilings and floors -30 complaints listed with the BBB. They have chosen to no longer respond t complaints and have an unsatisfactory rating. http://richmond.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=85&bbb=060 -Have not been renovated since they were built in the 1930's (they still have metal radiators). -One parking permit, you have to pay $30 for additional parking permits for the tiny poorly lit parking lot. -Rude unethical rental office staff (who have posted all the positive comments here)

I counted the days down for months and was finally paroled from the lease. The guy seemed disappointed at my walk through, it's because he couldn't find anything wrong to try and keep my security deposit! -Roaches -Sinking ceilings and floors -30 complaints listed with the BBB.
