I love my new River City Court Apartment! For the price, it was the best deal in Richmond - HUGE space, in-room laundry, off-street parking, what's not to love! The staff is great and my neighbors are friendly, I totally recommend this place!

Boy- the RCRA has moved River City Real Estate up 11 points today! From 32% at 9am to 43% at 5pm. These guys are GREAT!

When I moved out through no fault of River City, Comcast forgot to turn my cable service off for two months after I moved out. Comcast wanted proof I moved out before and asked me to present a letter from River City stating I moved out. To my utter shock & disbelief they refused to give me a brief statement on their letterhead just stating I moved out. It's bad enough the apartments are shoddy, moldy and have roaches but the poor customer service from the rental office is the icing on the cake!

I counted the days down for months and was finally paroled from the lease. The guy seemed disappointed at my walk through, it's because he couldn't find anything wrong to try and keep my security deposit! -Roaches -Sinking ceilings and floors -30 complaints listed with the BBB. They have chosen to no longer respond t complaints and have an unsatisfactory rating. http://richmond.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx'site=85&bbb -Have not been renovated since they were built in the 1930's (they still have metal radiators). -One parking permit, you have to pay $30 for additional parking permits for the tiny poorly lit parking lot. -Rude unethical rental office staff (who have posted all the positive comments here)

If you want to deal with the big red roaches they have exactly like the ones in the photos, sinking ceilings- EXACTLY like the ones in the photos, sinking floors and moldy bathrooms, Gilmour Court aka River City is the place for you!

Gilmour Court chould be a 26% but because of psycho Sarah who works in the rental office posting fake reviews it's up to 46%, which it's been at for quite some time ;) they are only working hard now to drown out honest reviews which are negative. The rental office post so many fake reviews they are now getting the apartment communities mixed up, they are posting fake reviews for the upper scaled ratholes Parachute Factory on Gilmour Courts board, what dummies. Good thing they can't do anything to cover up the 30 complaints listed at the Better Business Bureau http://richmond.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=85&bbb=060 River City has 30 complaints listed with the BBB. They have chosen to no longer respond to complaints and have an unsatisfactory/F rating. River City Real Estate is the only real estate business in the Richmond Better Business Bureau database with 26-99 complaints in the past 36 months. Roaches, toxic mold, unsafe dimly lit parking lot and laundry facility. You only get one parking permit, additional permits are $30. Psychotic, unprofessional rental office staff.
