-Have not been renovated since they were built in the 1930's (they still have metal radiators).

-One parking permit, you have to pay $30 for additional parking permits for the tiny poorly lit parking lot.

-Rude unethical rental office staff (who have posted all the positive comments here)

How about the giant hole in the parking lot? It's starting to cause damage (which I've documented) to my car. Much like the tree branch of your giant dead tree last year. Remember that? You will soon! I agree that the parking lot is reasonably well lit, but the grounds are not. It is completely dark around the buildings. A girl was sexually assaulted last year outside of the laundry room, where there is no light. You may have central AC and heat, but you refuse to maintain the HVAC units. Most tenant's filters haven't been changed by River City in over a year (the landlord is responsible for this care). You should be ashamed of yourselves, River City. You are the deadbeats. You have taken away services, while hiking the rent. You treat your tenants with disrespect and anger. You could treat everyone right, but you choose to take the low road, and rob them and gamble with their health and safety. It's coming for you, River City.

HEY EVERYBODY?!? Did you KNOW that River City has an UNSATISFACTORY rating at the BBB? You DIDN'T?!? Why not?!? The loons over at the RCRA keep posting it every five minutes! Get with the program!

Radiators must remain due to the historic district regulations. They are decorative only. "...tiny poorly lit parking lot" LIE. There are over 100 spaces and lit by GIANT Dominion Power lights "Many tenants do not clean up after their pets ESPECIALLY the ones with big dogs that leave huge "piles" all around the community" -Sounds like (typical) DEADBEAT TENANTS... but, of course- that's River City's fault. Get a life, moron!

GIANT dominion power lights? Have you even been over there at night? Are you kidding me? There is a single dim light lighting the parking lot. One. A tenant was robbed and assaulted at gun point in the dark around the apartments tonight.YOU ARE CHARGED WITH THE SAFETY OF YOUR TENANTS!

so am I to understand that some of these posts are actually from River City employees? Isn't that not allowed? are some of the positive posts also from River City employees? Why isn't the website doing anything about that?
