Leaving Soon

My lease is up in a couple of weeks, and I felt moved to review this apartment building and the leasing agency. I have never been given such a hard time, or lived in such poor conditions then here. I was charged for basic maintenance and I was charged late two fees (that were overturned in court).

When I called and questioned the late fees, the receptionist was incredibly rude and told me that it didn't matter when I turned my check it, what mattered was when they decided to cash it. When I checked out their records in the courthouse I found out that they are taken to court, and lose quite often, for this sort of thing. Enough to make me suspicious about the validity of a lot of their fees.

I'm leaving though, but I would never recommend this apartment to anyone, I don't know how it got such a high rating. There were roaches, and rats running around the courtyard and living under the front porches, and the dog feces on the sidewalks and yards were horrible. On a hot summer day when the wind blew all you could smell was poop.

I feel badly for the poor college kids just getting their first apartments that fell prey to this rental company.

NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE!
