A background check is required for residency here, which proves to be good in controling the "quality" of neighbors. Lots of local police live in the complex, as well as young families, older couples, and responsible 20-somethings. It is well maintained (very quick/competent maintenance staff), and the exterior is also kept up (patching of parkinglot, etc...). A nice pool is located centrally in the complex and a "pool pass" can be purchased for $1. Office staff is friendly (they remember names) and firm in keeping policy. Apartments are roomy and clean when you move in. Seasonal inspections are actually good for preventative maintenance to ensure you recieve your deposit back. The only problem was the insulation in the apartment which made it difficult to keep cool air inside during the summer (high electric bills in summer, VERY low bill in winter).I moved after one year because we were ready to move to a house- but we could have lived there for a few years without problem. Rent is a little high, but for a quiet, clean, friendly neighborhood- its worth it.
