I don't like Hunt Club Apartments b/c the apartments are everything in them are OLD!!! The trash room is on the inside of the building. It smells and is full of roaches. More often than not, something smells in the hallways. There is a roach problem that I've reported but maintenance hasn't addressed. The type of people that they are renting to now, like to sit outside on the steps when ALL of the apartments have patio's to sit on. It's way overpriced, dirty, and old. The wash room is in the same corridor as the trash room so when you do go and wash your clothes you have to smell the stench from the trash. There are two washers only and two dryers. Oh-and you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbor's apt's. There is no privacy.It's not worth the money.

If you call the office and have them put you on their pest control list, the pest guy will come on Fridays and take care of your problem...and the apartments are old, you did not realize this when you went there to fill out the application?

I agree that the trash room inside the building is a bad idea. Should have dumpsters outside for that purpose.

Word to the wise. Let it be known that IHOTMOMA is the property manager's screen name and she does comment on alot of the negative feedback on here acting as an occupant that give wonderful reviews. Many occupants no first hand that she sneaks into the office before anyone gets there and deletes the negative phone calls that us occupants leave when the office is closed about neighbors that are causing trouble or the kids that are out of conrol which some of the kids are hers . I have left messages many times for another women in the office and said the message was for her and it never made it to her and it was a few calls that i place and each time it was nagative about some drug dealings and alcohal drinking on the front steps but yet she never recieved them . Perhaps thalhimer downtown should know that thier mental minded propety manager IHOTMOMA is hiding major ---- and some pretty bad things thats are going on here with the new tenants she has let into the place and has made it to the point of an unlivable peaceful place for those of us who have been here for many years. she make herslf looks as though she is this wonderfull worker that gets no compliants and has no proplems at all when in fact all hell is about to break lose up in this place with tempers between occupant's/occupant's. ps: if you post your negative review and give your name you bettr believe that she will let everyone no who you are and what you said. I too no first hand that she will let someone no if you past a complaint along to her about a neighbor and the noise that they keep making or if they are doing something that breaks a hunt club rule. So thats why it is best to remain anonymously for your safety and others .
