Ivy Walk Apartments

Former resident that was glad to leave From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006   I enjoyed most of my stay at the apartments. It did get loud over the weekend and there was a lot of traffic in and out of the property. There are a lot of children in the area and they don't always pay attention to the cars/people around them. I almost hit several just trying to park my car. Parking can get a little congested over the weekend but for the most part it is okay. The walls are very thin in the master bedroom and I would have to agree that I also heard a lot of people passing by heard every word of their conversations. The mail man could never get the mail right. I lived there for a year and still got the previous tenant's mail;even though she put in a change of address. Fortunately for me I only had to experience a few false alarm fire drills. Some buildings experienced the kids pulling the alarm every day. My building did have to get treated for roaches and I had to call the cops for loud noise. My biggest complaint is that the office NEVER keeps their weekend hours. Don't expect to get anything done then. The sign says they should be there from 10-4 but they don't even show up on Saturdays. Not even when rent is due!!! Spend a little more time looking around before committing to this community. Definately drive through the property on a Friday/Saturday night.
