A good place if you donâ??t mind roaches and bad maintenance

My first year at Kingly Ones was comfortable. No big issues aside from maintenance taking their time to respond to requests; and finally when they get around to â?fixingâ the problem they just patch it up. Finally, I started doing my own repairs around the apartment. No big deal-I enjoy doing this type of work anyway. So, I renewed my lease. Why??? After that first year, I guess whatever they had treated the apartment with for the insects, just wore off. I am seeing more and more roaches and every time the exterminator comes by the apartment (by the way, I am starting to loose count), I see more roaches. It is not getting any better. At this point it is messing with my mental so, I asked what my options would be and there are none but to break my lease. The two options of breaking my lease (even under these conditions) are to: (1) find a sub-leaser to take over the apartment. (2) Pay three months rent ($1,860.00). I wouldnât want to dump this apartment on anyone. Nor do I have $1,860.00 to give to the roaches. DO NOT MOVE HERE. These apartments are managed by modern day slumlords.
