Worst apartment i have ever lived in
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 3/31/2005
Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I moved from this apartment complex a few months ago and I am glad to be out. I have had problems from the day I moved in. My apartment was infested with ants the day i went to pick up my key. I requested to have this problem taken care of prior to my moving in but was told it would be 2 weeks before it could be done. All other maintenace requests have been similar. Expect to have ants in your place from April-October and squirrels in the walls and vents from November - February. Other maintenance requests were never taken care of at all. Moving out will result in gross overcharges of fees. Expect to have your rent screwed up at least 2-3 times over the course of a year. Parking can be a problem depending on which section you live in. They are gradually renovating the townhouses. This is supposedly a 2 week process but can drag on for 3-4 months depending on the extent of the renovation - i got to wake up to construction every morning. When i asked management if it would be possible for the workers to start after 8 in the morning I was told i needed to be more understanding. Overall the apartments are poorly insulated so you will definitly hear your neighbors and the heating and airconditioning bills are high. The price is reasonable for this area, the apartments are large and the floorplan is good if you want to put up with all of the other problems.
