I wish I knew about this rating site BEFORE I moved into this dump! We moved here in late July 2003. READ all of this before you read the "kicker" at the end... Summary:

first day here: ant infestation (expect it as soon as the temp goes above 70. spiders are also your new roommate. hope you like em! Did I MENTION the MICE under the kitchen sink'
electric bill: Forget it - you are screwed!!!! We averaged around 300/mo when we used our heating or air conditiong. AND we are conscious of our usage!!!!
Silverware drawer - just leave the fridge open to use it - you can't open the drawer unless the fridge door is open
Laundry : expect to spend about 5 hours from start to finish to wash and dry 3 towels
plumbing: sign the lease- buy a plunger. nuff said
add'l plumbing: hope you like a 5 minute shower. hot water is zapped immediately
more plumbing: leaky sinks and pipes, bad drainage in ALL of the sinks and showers - count em - we had 7. Draino isn't cheap.
walls: do you like hearing your next door neighbors snoring' we don't - for almost 3 YEARS!! We also know that they watched Seinfeld faithfully, as well as Foxnews in the morning. I won't relay what they watched at night.....
dog poop: clean it up. tired of stepping in it (bet the crap I tracked onto my carpet will result in ANOTHER fee)
kids: It's a FREE for all!!! toys, trash, SCREAMING, soccer balls hitting your windows, kids running thru the parking lots, no supervision. I have had to personally assist 3 crying children back to their homes when they wondered to my door lost and scared. Same goes for animals. I have fed and cared for several abandoned cats and dogs here! These people rent to ANYONE!
noise: do the renovation crews HAVE to blast their music at 8am'''
maintenance: I WILL give them this, they got rid of the previous guy. But, after 3 months of no A/C and promises to get it fixed (july-Oct!!!!), we finally called emergency maintenance. All we got was LIP from the guy. I actually had to go off on him to get him out to our place - the next day, to get the A/C working again - on a good note, it saved us a little on the electric bill
appliances: crappy w/d, crappy stove, crappy fridge.

KICKER: I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!! About a week after we moved in, our basement flooded. We used our basement for our den and of course, we had our storage rooms on the side. We called as soon as the water began to come in thru the back door and tried desp. to put our furniture and 52" tv on blocks to avoid the water. When I called the office - previous apt manager Miss M. (ugh) was such a wench - I never received an apology. I was told to calm down and my roommate was asked about me "what's her problem'" My problem was that I had just lost SEVERAL thousand dollars worth of irreplacable antique furniture, sentimental items and misc. items. After over 2 months of back and forth bs from WMC, I was finally "gifted" 1/2 month off my rent from each month that I had lived there. That equalled 1 1/4 free rent. I never saw the other 1/4 off rent. They must have misplaced it, as they are completely detached and unorganized. I also got the letter of legal action, because they never bothered to update their files to say that I had received the partial free rent. Anyway, after speaking to neighbors, we learn that the unit that we are in, has flooded on SEVERAL occasions. In fact, our neighbors across the courtyard moved out from next door because of the flooding. We were never told this before we moved in. When we were in her office, we saw on the computer, the "history" of flooding in our unit (before she threw her big body in front of the screen to cover up the info). She acted soooooo very surprised that this had happened. So, they FINALLY get out here to fix the problem... After it was said and done, our basement has ALWAYS smelled like elephant crap. Every bit of metal is rusted. Bleach spots are everywhere - and, they never bothered to remove the items from the large storage room... so, when we go to move items from there, we are greeted by EVERYTHING covered in black and/or fuzzy white mold. Add that to the trash pile out back and to the loss of items/money. After the second flooding, they installed some type of water pump in the backyard. The guy installing it told us that it is hooked to OUR electricity. The office never told us this - and the pump is for 2 or 3 other units, as well.

Well, we went month to month after our first year here was up, because, we had planned on moving out of state. We were month to month for almost 2 years. Never made another complaint after the A/C debacle back in 2004. Although we have fixed our own toilets, drains and sinks when they break and have been without a disposal for over 2 years. We got tired of dealing with the people. Never paid rent late. Get a letter in March saying that we had not paid our March 1 rent (threaten legal action). We pay over 1300 a month here, because of the 125 premium for month to month - and this is a completely UN-RENOVATED unit!! They acted like I was lying when I told them that I had dropped my rent in the slot like I had for the past, almost 3 years!!! I simply popped back in and gave them a new check. Next bill' Yep, late fee added.

I agree with the previous posts where ya'll claim they gouge you when you move out, to pay for the renovations. I can't wait to see how my move out goes!

My only props go to the current maintenance crew in the golfcarts. They rock! They pick up all of the TRASH that other tenants leave lying around ASAP! (why rent to people that throw trash all over the place') It sets a standard... By the way... I am tired of picking up the trash that all of the tyrant kids leave strewn around my apt.

Nutshell: Don't rent here. Please!!
