The leasing staff certainly can make this place seem like a bed of roses. Car towing is frequent - be careful. Manager is extemely mean and lies through her teeth -had to get an attorney involved. Don't be duped by movein specials - when mine expired they increased rent 12%!!!! Stay away from this place at all costs - because it will cost you. Been here a year and regret it. Contact Allison Weintstein owner to give her the same business you get back.

I could not agree more. I made the crazy mistake of moving out of one crappy unit in September of 2006 only to go against my better judgement and rent a "renovated" (yea right) in November 2006. What a mistake. I now look forward to the day when I can be done with this company for good. Now that I have left an apartment with mold problems, I've moved into an apartment with slug problems. I absolutely cannot stand it. Maintenance is pathetic, they just don't do anything. This company is ALWAYS hiring for maintenance staff, leasing staff, etc. Kings Crossing has seen 4 property managers in less than 2 years since I've been living over here. The units are old and expensive, they have so-called renovated very shoddily. Allison Weinstein? You'd do better calling the Rainman because she takes ownership for nothing. Don't rent here, you will be SORRY and don't let them entice you with move-in specials like "two months free" over the course of the lease, you will have paid the "free rent" back ten fold with the number of problems you will encounter.

I really am confused about the slams on the maintenance staff. I've never had a problem with them and every thing that has gone wrong has been fixed within two days and hasn't had to be refixed. I also have had no slug sightings, though do have some spiders (daddy long-legs type). The thing that pisses me off the most are the people who don't pick up their dog crap, and the kids that have decided to use my stoop as a skateboarding ramp. I don't know why people who hate a location continue to rent there and then ----- about it endlessly.

I have lived here for two years, and I would have to agree with the negatives in both reviews. Would not recommend the place, in fact I have saved 3 people from the torture of living here. The only up side is space, I was only suppose to live in Richmond for 1 year and to move or house was a major pain for the extra 8 months we are stuck... However,I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THE COMPANY AGAIN......
