All three of these complexes are in one area under one management. Where to begin'

When we first moved in the staff was friendly. We had a roommate situation and had to terminate a lease on a 3 bedroom and move to a 2 bedroom and they were very helpful with various fee's and other complications.

But then the management changed. Since then there have been 13 car break ins, the main office kept denying to everyone that they knew anything about it to everyone who reported it. I had to get CBS and NBC local news out there before they'd even warn the neighbor's that this was happening. Still, vandalism continues to persist throughout the complex.

The maintenance staff is horrible. We have 2 water leaks, one on the first level and another on the second. Everytime they come to fix it they merely fix the wall or ceiling damage and never the source of the leak so the damage keeps re-occurring. Myself and my roommate were sick for 3 months and could not figure out the cause, but we suspect it was due to mold in the walls.

They enforce parking here, even if you're parked legally they will tow you. They seem to have a financial arrangement with Global Towing. These thugs come out 3-4 times a day to see if you're parked in a reserved spot, if you are and don't have a tag they toe you. If you're so much as an 1/8th of an inch over a white line in an unreserved spot, they tow you. Myself and every single one of our neighbor's have been towed. I have been towed for parking as i should, and when i was parked completely within the guidelines...good luck getting your money back.

They have also habitually posted my rent to the wrong account and put 4 marks on my rent history due to their administrative errors. This has deeply impacted my ability to rent other places. It took legal threats to get the marks removed.

They also illegally shared my rent history with my mother without authorization from myself or the other lease holder.

We had a bat get in our apartment and the maintenece didn't believe the bat was there b/c by the time they arrived it was daylight.. bats are nocturnal. They taped up the windows.. and then left for 2 hours, while the bat came back on within 5 minutes. They then proceeded to try to catch the bat with trash pinchers (whatever you call them). As you can tell this wasn't very effective. The whole scenario was a disaster.

They PAINT the bathtubs and showers. So.. the paint chips off after about 3-4 months of usage. You cannot take a bath here. They are more than willing to come and repaint it, but if you're busy like myself, have pets, it's impossible. They need 12 hours for the place to be vacated for health reasons. So we're stuck with a tubs with paint chips.

Paid a deposit' It doesn't mean a thing. Even if you lose the whole deposit they've charged neighbors up to a thousand dollars to replace the rugs in the apartment.

When they post your rent to the wrong account, how do they handle it' They don't send you a friendly reminder stating they haven't received payment, they send legal threats from their lawyers harassing you about court action they will take if they don't receive it in a certain amount of time.

The pool has signs up all over the place stating no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk, but there's always one on duty. And 15 minutes of every hour we have to get out the pool so he can smoke and do whatever it is he does. If you bring a guest, they require a pass from the main office, ok fine, but when you show up when the main office is closed, not so good.

There's a bunch of punk kids that hang around outside our place all the time. My sister came home at night and they have no problems yelling every curse word at her they can think of and just in general acting "hard". They talk about their drug use so loud any passerby walking their dogs has to hear about "how high they were last night". Wouldn't suprise me in the least if Global Towing or these wanna-be thugs were doing the break-ins to any of the cars.

In short, stay away far far away from this company. Not just this complex but Weinstein properties. They are incompetent, they are crooks, they are not friendly, the neighborhood is an up and coming ghetto and it takes legal threats and news organizations getting involved for anything to get done around this place.
