Please... do yourself a favor & don't EVER move here. It feels like I'm living in public housing. Unattended children roam the complex all hours of the day & night. The police are called to this complex on a regular basis for domestic violence & drug activity (my Uncle is a police officer & has confirmed this). I have no problem being a minority as a white person in this complex, however I do have a problem with the lazy unemployed trashy people that inhabit 90% of this complex.

My neighbors conducting drug deals on our adjoining front porch... that is BAD. My next door neighbor having a home birth at midnight on a Sunday night b/c she can't afford health insurance or is running from the law... that is SICK!!! When your neighbors received atleast 4 court & eviction notices for unpaid back rent... that is just SAD!!! These are the caliber of people living in this complex & Kings Crossing staff does nothing about it. (And I have become friends with people who live in several different sections of the complex & the "trash" is widespread).

Do yourself a favor & move into a safe & respectable complex with classy people. This place is a DUMP!!!

I currently live at Addison and what you are describing sounds like an entirely different community. If you have no problem being a white "minority," then you shouldn't have to bring that up. Bringing it up at all has an undertone of superiority. Apartments are never going to be the absolute best place to live. Get over yourself - you should have purchased a home in Twin Hickory if your expectations are so high.

Nothing worse than drug deals on the porch except drug deals in the parking lot next door to where a police officer lives...although the child birth one may take the cake.

I agree. This property has gone downhill over the past few years. We have noticed several tenants with eviction notices on their doors with people coming all hours of the night. Police seem to always be called to the complex - Addison. You will find kids that do not live in the complex walking through, etc. Cars are constantly vandalized because there is not enough lighting and few parking spaces so you always end up on the street. Find another place to live. The days of Kings Crossing being a "luxury" community have long passed.

The next few responses sound as though they're from the top of the pile.

If your uncle is a cop and there are drug deals on your front porch...then CALL THE COPS! Don't be a coward about it and post it on some website. Do something about it by calling the police! I'm sure your "uncle" can help you out. And you aren't classy at all by trashing you community on a darn website. Class is personally handling the situation with respect, not complaining about it anonymously. I'm assuming you are the poster from the weekend as well. If so, do everyone in the community a favor and MOVE. Move to a home on 10 acres of land in the country.

I really enjoy living in Kings Crossing. These comments sound as though they are describing an entirely different community. I must really be missing something lol. All of my neighbors are very nice and the leasing office has always been very responsive whenever I've needed something. The majority of people living in this community seem to be hard working families, or young professionals. No community is perfect, and I don't think you will find anywhere in which you don't see any children playing outside. Seems quite normal to me.
