It is ok. They apartments could stand to be renovated. It seems to be pretty quiet in the area. I have a lot of trouble with my plumbing. Maintenaince does fix it in a timely manner, but it still is a problem. I really hate the fact that you can hear the water going down the pipes in your bedroom closet when your upstairs neighbor is taking a shower. It can become a little scary. I was given new carpet, but I do not like the black and white kitchen and hallway floor. It seems to be black and yellow. I do like the spacious closets. I do not believe I will stay after 1 year, because of space issues.

I am a current resident and have lived in Kings Point for about 3 years. There has been a recent change over the last 6 months. I live in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apt. It is very nice. Parking is good overall, every now and then it gets full(usually on the weekends). The management changes have not been good ones. This new team lacks the customer relation skills necessary to handle situations. Maintance is pretty prompt and handle only what they consider big issues. For ex: I had water leaks and they fixed the leaks but never returned to paint over the disgusting brown water marks. The kitchen tile is a little ugly, but it's an apt. not your house. I have a horrible neighbor who is very noisy and rude, management just put out reminders but never solved the situation. But one of the biggest issues have been the increase in rent (Nov. 06) and the simple fact that residents now have to pay their own water, sewage and trash. We might as well be in a house. One of the perks of being in an apt. is that you do not have all of the bills. Another issue is that I want to move out and the move-out check list is horrific. The apt was not that clean when I moved in. They expect for residents to change filters, clean carpets, fill nail holes, clean behind the refrigerator and stove and touch up paint. Those are all things that I feel the complex should do between residents anyway. They threaten to keep your deposit. I feel that Kings Point aims to not refund deposits, that it is a part of their master plans. Everything was good until I decided to leave. Then it went downhill and they have become quite rude. I suggest that if you are considering Kings Point as a future residence that you get a copy of the check out checklist and use that during your new resident walk through. And please take the price and all utility fees into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
