I have lived in over 8 different apartment communities in the past 6 years, due to military service. This was the absolute worst one ever. Before I begin I would like to add that I am an early rent payer who has never ever been late paying for anything. I have a perfect rental record.

First of all management never returns any of your calls unless it has to do with something positive. The previous person who commented is crazy.

My air conditioning has been broken for the past 3 weeks, and they are too cheap to have staff working on weekends or to hire extra people to fix air conditioning units. This includes the 100 degree heat wave in which they had no one working on air conditioning units over the weekend. After the maintenance man told them the whole a/c unit was bad they decided to order just a compressor which took 2 weeks to come in and did not fix the issue. Now they have 2 apartment units which have the same issues and they have 1 maintenance man repairing the a/c which is a 4 day job to rewire, repipe, install a new unit, and install a new controller in the apartment (This also includes tearing apart your bedroom walls to run new piping). This maintenance man does not have his HVAC cert. They have an unskilled maintenance man working on the air conditioning units, admitedly by even him. The management is the worst ever and they are cheap. They have refused to refund me any money on my rent. The are under manned and it takes days for them to reply to maintenance issues, which you will have many of. I pay to rent because I do not want to maintain a home of my own, it is their responsibility to hire more people.

There are a million loudmouthed college kids living here and you will be awake all night. Plus rude and obnoxious ghetto fabulous people who have no respect for anyone who is not black. Crime rate is huge in this section of Richmond, East end is by far the worst. Plus it has the highest concentration of sex offenders per square mile in any area of Richmond. Dont go off of the way this place looks, and do not judge a book by its cover. Plus the pool has a million loud mouth kids peeing in it all day. The gym has old out dated equipment and regularly has young men playing obscene music at the highest levels possible that shouts n**ger this ni***r that. The projects are right down the road on 360 toward Richmond and Nine Mile Road, NOT A SAFE PLACE.

The absolute only nice thinng I can say is the secretaries at the office are nice.

Plus the washing machines in the laundromats never work and never get fixed.

I would also like to note that when the cops were being called to our apartments because of a man peeking in windows of apartments, the management was immediatly notified. It took them 7 months to receive the money from corporate to install extra lighting in the apartment complex. That is all they did. They do not care about their residents, they care about money here that is it.

Would also like to add that the apartments are small and outdated. The kitchens have old, rusty, and broken appliances in them. There is black mold in my bathtub. Cheap paint jobs. Terrible and inefficient windows that leak heat and cool air. Carpeting is nice. Closet doors dont work, shelves are terrible. Water bills are ridiculous. Toilets are always broken.

Ha ha-- loud, offensive music, poor condition of laundry facilities and the toilets are always broken-- I agree! Management rude-- I agree! You say that they installed extra lighting in the complex. This is true, but it is still dangerously dark.
