I have been living at Kings Point going on 3 years this November to live close to my sister, and I can say with a big happy smile, I am so glad I will be leaving.

If you are someone considering living here, first do your homework, because I DON'T think these apts are worth it.

I live in a one br with loft unit, and besides from the vaulted ceilings, this apt has the worst appliances ever.

My HVAC has caused me so much aggravation, that I am considering legal matters.

Every one who tells you maintenance is not qualified to fix anything here is right.

From my garbage disposal, to my fan, light fixtures and a/c, the complex home office doesn't care if your apt works right or not.

The management onsite are not all bad, but care about apt maintenance issue s little or none at all.

All they care about is when they get the rent.

I was never late, until this past winter when I missed the due date by one day, and they charged me a $65 past due fee.

The street lights don t work, and the laundry facilities are the nastiest I ve ever seen.

The closet doors are old and don't work, and I had a bat, yes a bat fly into my apt some how.

Find a better place; you will thank me later.

I am a current resident - August 2010 - and this poster is spot on the money about the appliances. My refrigerator constantly makes the most horrible noises, the a/c scares me and my cats when it comes on, because it is so loud. The stove is old, and runs hotter than the settings. Also, when they are repainting between residents, they don't take much care and you see lots of over-spray on the carpets, floors, and windows. Not bad places, but you can get your money's worth elsewhere. (posting anonymously, because I'm still here unfortunately!)

Glad I was able to reach someone who feels the same way. Not that long ago I tried to warn a friend about their bad practices before signing with them, but the price won, which is hard to resist and not my advise. Hopefully you won't suffer as much as I did durning my stay in the summer with no A/C cause that was the worst. Tip... keep all your work orders since they like to disapear at the front office. I did and took them to court, it made them look pretty bad. The more you complain about a issue, the better b/c eventually the main office will have to do something. Always remember you have rights, so don't let them push you around. Good luck!!
