A little late but...

I had the pleasure of moving out of this humble abode about a month ago. I must say the past month has been quite fabulous. First off I was quite annoyed to learn that two cold water lines were hooked into my shower and I had to wait almost two weeks to get it fixed. Thank God my roomates bathroom worked. Second, there are two pools. One would think one would be for the family and the other would be for adults. WRONG!! As a former lifeguard and pool manager I cannot reiterate enought how important it is to have a lifeguard present instead of a teenager, accompanied by her boyfriend, sitting by the pool signing people in completely oblivious to children running around like a bunch of wild animals. Sure its all fun and games at a pool but when a child slips and falls or even worse and no one notices, its a bit of an issue.
Moving on, the leasing staff could use some work in the customer service department. I really love the lack of friendly faces and concern when you come to them with a problem. But you better believe they're nice when you're handing them your overpriced rent check. But the biggest problem is the parking. One space per apartment is not enough. It should have been left the way it was. Parking is rarely fun but when I have to park three streets over after dark because there are none near my building and walk i can get quite angry. And it really didn't help to recieve a peeping tom notice on my door about some random guy peering into apartments. Yeah thats safe! The Legacy at Mayland is much like an old lady with a brand new face lift. Pretty from afar but once you get close the ugly just shines right through.
