mediocre west end apartment with poor parking and noisy neighbors

Parking is a hassel if you have more than one car per apartment, as each apartment only has a single reserved spot. Visitor spots are almost always all full by the time I'm home from work around 6:30. Fortunatley my apartment is located close to the overflow parking area near the office, making the situation more tolerable. Most of the people at this complex do not have nice cars, and will have total disregard for yours. There's an inexplicable number of work trucks and vans. I've received some pretty severe scratches and door dings.
We live on the first floor and the neighbors above us have several children who are very, very loud. As several other reviewers have mentioned, trash seems to pile up on the lawn in front of the trash compactor.
Dealing with the staff is arduous. Expect multiple trips to the office and multiple phone calls to renew your lease or add/remove roommates.
On the plus side, the apartment is located in a convenient location right near 64 and minutes away from broad street.
