Beautiful Apartments, Nice Staff But Horrible Guest Parking

I moved into the community shortly after the remodeling and was the 1st tenant into my "new" apartment. It was great. Then people started moving into my street and the parking just got out of control. I actually like having a reserved parking space which beats having to trek from God knows where else without having a reserved space. The problem is that too many residents have more than one car per apartment, which is a lease violation. So, those extra cars take up the guest parking spaces and limit the ability to have guests. I think the staff should do more about the lease violators who have more than one vehicle. These people complain about not having enough parking but they've created the problem.

The community is well maintained, with the exception of the dumpsters over the weeekend. Two dumpsters on site are not enough- clearly- for this community. I left a trash bag on my patio once instead of throwing it into a heap outside of the main dumpster that extended into the street for fear that staff would go through the trash, find my address on something and fine me. I still got a letter taped to my door about leaving trash on my patio, so I guess I still got screwed trying to be a good samaritan.

All in all, you will pay hefty West End prices to live in this community but the homes are lovely. The HDTv's for $50.00/mo additional are great. I didn't like the addition of the storage units when they installed them because they take up parking spaces that could be used for guests.

I am not in agreement with you on the too many cars theory. If more than one person is sharing the lease, then all should have a parking space. The visitor just have to feel their way through. Plain and simple! Are you kidding me!
