Speaking as someone who left Legacy at Mayland in December 2008, I can attest to the many many many angry reviews about the parking.

The parking is horrendous at best. What good is having a three or two bedroom apartment if there's only one space' Legacy is a good place if you're a lonely shut-in that doesn't have any friends, and you don't work, so you don't have to worry about losing your parking space.

Also, when I was there the dumpster was ALWAYS full. It was a fun game to see if you could throw your garbage into the dumpster and see if it lands on top of the pile or if it fell off it spilling onto the ground.

If you ARE a stay at home shut-in, you might be able to fill the empty times in your life by living thru your neighbors due to the wonderfully thin walls and floors. I lived on the second floor so luckily I got to hear EVERY SINGLE STEP I MADE on the wonderfully squeaky floors. My downstairs neighbor also was able to hear everything I was doing, which let her know that I was still alive!

The interior area always smelled bad, due to the smell of boiled gym socks and cabbage. Nothing says lovin' like boiled gym socks and cabbage!


All in all, if you enjoy never having anyone over at your apartment and you want to hear your neighbors every move, and see a lifetimes amount of trashbags, please give Legacy at Mayland a try!

Also, the staff really are great at "forgetting" that you paid the rent (even when you had a receipt) and were more than happy to put "Notice of Eviction' notices on your door when they thought the rent was late. Tho when you show them the receipt they wonderfully "remember" you paying rent.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. DON'T RENT HERE... Thankfully I'm at a (fairly) better place now.
