I made the mistake of renting my unit on-line PRIOR to seeing the actual unit. I saw the pictures on line and figured they must be nice. BIG MISTAKE. I read all of the reviews online but thought that these people were exagerating. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE..PLEASE READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE WARNINGS....This place is not worth the rent they charge. It looks nice but its not what it seems. The walls are VERY thin. I've seen huge roaches, crickets and mountains of ants in my apartment. I've asked for some pest control several times and have yet to see one on the scheduled time/days they promised. I've lived in several apartment buildings and this one is by far the worst i've lived in...Also, make sure before you sign your lease YOU READ IT VERY CAREFULLY, this company is out to make money only. They do not care about their tenants at all. I tried to get out of my lease and they're charging me a $1964 buy out amount upfront, PLUS 2 additional months charge which totals to $3928. Now what doesn't make sense is that if I stayed in the apartment and continue paying my monthly rent until the end of my lease term which is up in Feb.2010 these payments will add up to about $3928. I decided to move out and still pay my monthly charges of $982 until my lease is up in Feb. but i was informed by MISERY AT MAYLAND that i would still be responsible for the water/electric bills even if i'm not living in the apartment. These people are unbelievable...ARE they really that desperate for money'' There are PLENTY of nice apartments in the area so when you come to misery at mayland do yourself a favor and just keep on driving by....
