This apartment has gone downhill fast! When I moved in 4 1/2 years ago, the place was okay. As a single mom, I couldn't afford a 4-star place. However, when I moved from the townhouses to the garden style, the gloves were off. I inherited a rampant pest problem that never gets taken care of because they only spray one apartment, which means the pests just go into hiding in another unit and develop immunities to the spray. The building is so old that there are cracks, crevices and holes everywhere. In fact, my walls are separating from the ceiling. I know the building is not settling; it was built in 1970. It takes forever to get things repaired. I have the original kitchen from 1970, and the drawer fronts keep falling off. The pool, which looks great in the pictures, actually has peeling paint and just looks scummy. By the way, don't have overnight company. There are approximately 3 visitors spots for each court (around 30 units), and to get a visitor's parking tag, you have to go to the office and get one for each car. Good luck with that, since the office hours are bankers' hours. I've had guests' cars towed twice in the last year. The neighbors are loud; it's not unusual for me to be awakened before 7:00 on Saturday or Sunday by someone's stereo pumping music so loud it's distorted. The grounds are unkempt; there are cigarette butts everywhere in front of my building (I don't smoke, by the way). I hate to have people come to visit because the place is just too embarrassing.
